I’m glad hope is something that can't be swept away. Because even though these words were swept away a short while after the defiant homeless man wrote it, his hope of sharing his faith with those around him remained intact. When I asked him why he wrote the word ‘Hope’ he shrugged and said "hope is all I have". His single handed act, reminded me that it’s never what you have that matters, but what you do with what’s in your hand that’s of great importance. This man had no home to go to and he rightfully, could have been bitter about his situation. Yet, he chose to share all the hope he had, that kept him going, with others.
