Anyone sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ will undoubtedly face persecution in one form or the other. Jesus said: "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:10-12 Listen on to find out why Christians must be prepared to face persecution and the end result of it. Stay blessed and keep on going!

There is a cost to following Christ. A cost we must count before we say 'I do' to following Christ. Jesus himself told us to count the cost. In Luke 14:28 he said this: “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? - Luke 14:28 - This cost is worth addressing to emphasise that following Christ comes at a very hefty price. Hope this post gets you thinking abut what it truly means to follow Christ. Stay Blessed and keep on going! Christians are increasingly being marginalised for living and sharing their faith. It is with this in mind that I address the increasing media coverage of the occult. If they can freely share their beliefs, why can't Christians share the Gospel of Jesus Christ? It should give you food for thought. Stay Blessed and keep on going! |
