“Sure a poet is a sage, a humanist, physician to all men.” - Keats - These were the words of a man who knew what it meant to love, despite suffering pain and loss. Keats was a gifted poet who saw poetry as a way to heal a hurting world and chose to use that gift to encourage others. Isn't that how one should use one's God-given talents? Afterall, it doesn't matter what gift you have, what matters is how purposefully you use it. See Matthew 25:14-30 for The Parable of the Talents. It will shed some light on how God views the use of our talents. Because, when God gives anyone a gift, it's usually for the benefit of others. Think about it!
