Life and the pressures of the modern work environment can be quite demanding. But there is a solution to the problem. That solution lies with God the creator of the earth and the gift of restoration he's given us. This post is to encourage you to take good care of your personal wellbeing from a God-centred perspective. As putting yourself first, will impact other areas of your life positively including work. The bible describes God’s restoration this way:

“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths  for his name’s sake.”
- Psalm 23:2-3, NIV -

Simply put, if you ask God for guidance, he will show you how to get a good life-work balance.

When it comes to achieving your purpose, the only way to look is up to the one who made you. He made it clear in his word that there is no accomplishing anything without him. Your purpose is not dependent on man, but is solely dependent on God. Like the manufacturer who made something, God knows the workings of your life. Build a good relationship with him and you will surely achieve your purpose. His word says,

Live in me, and I will live in you. A branch cannot produce any fruit by itself. It has to stay attached to the vine. In the same way, you cannot produce fruit unless you live in me.
- John 15:4, God’s Word Translation -

Hope this encourages you to keep on living out your purpose and if you don’t know what that is, that’s okay just ask for God’s help. He will be right there waiting for you.
